I was lucky enough to be selected to trial and review the NUK First Choice Glow in the Dark Bottle with Temperature Control to use with my baby Hannah.
As a primarily breastfeeding family, the idea that this bottle is designed on breastfeeding was a big tick for me and Hannah took to the bottle with ease, the silicone teat is a nice fit against the roof her mouth which gives a natural feeling while drinking.
First Look
I love the idea of the built-in temperature control feature on the bottle. In our early days of feeding, this was always a concern to make sure the temperature was right and not too hot.
This bottle is a great size for little hands, feels great to hold and is neatly weighted. The fact that the bottle actually glows in the dark was a real win for Hannah and the heat indicator is a WIN for me! All around we are pretty happy and excited about this bottle being our go-to-bottle for feeding.
Effectiveness
Hannah really enjoys her night time bottle, the added benefit of the Glow Effect ring makes it so easy for Hannah to find during the night without having to disturb her and turn on the lights for her late night feed. I wish we had this bottle earlier as it would have been great to help feed without needing the lights during her overnight feeds.

None of our bottles previously have had the temperature control feature, this is a new feature to us and it really took a lot of stress out of making her night time bottle.
The temp control will really come in handy and take the pressure off making bottles out and about with boiling water. The indicator changes to blue (from white), which indicates the contents are around 37°C (body temperature).
