We are a busy family always on the go and wanted an easier more compact and convenient solution to our conventional pram, that is too big and heavy to be taken on the road, to business meetings in the city and for quick trips. We couldn’t wait to trial the Redsbaby AERON pram! With its user-friendly features, thoughtful design and nifty one second, one hand fold (it’s a total game-changer) the Redsbaby AERON has been integrated seamlessly into our hectic lives, making outings with bub a total breeze.
First Look
At first glance the Redsbaby AERON is super compact, very sleek and stylish. The taupe colour way is sleek, modern and neutral with the added benefit of being a lighter colour in a hot and humid climate. The mesh seat back and extra-large sun canopy will be an added benefit through those hotter months. The leatherette accents also give the pram a touch of luxury.
Durability
We are always on the go and any piece of equipment needs to withstand a lot of travel and adventures on all sorts of terrain and environments and the Redsbaby AERON doesn’t disappoint. The wheels are sturdy and seem to offer an easy ride for bub unlike some other compact prams I’ve used that feel like you’re pushing along pizza cutters whilst bumping and jostling bub around. The Redsbaby AERON is smooth whilst being tough and totally durable.
Performance
The Redsbaby AERON boasts the fastest fold on the market and whilst I was skeptical, as the product demonstrations make it look so easy and seamless, I was pleasantly surprised. It really is super quick and easy, especially for those of us who always struggle with folding things back to their original shape or position or just anything mechanical in general.
With a seamless flick of the wrist the Redsbaby AERON can be folded in both parent and world-facing positions so easily. While folded it is super compact, making it the perfect pram to take traveling or storing when space is at a premium.
It is so lightweight as well, which is useful considering all the other things you need to pack when going on the road with a child. The Redsbaby AERON corners like a dream making it easy to manoeuvre (great for those of us who have suffered from “mummy thumb” or who need to take calls or carry much needed cups of coffee).
The storage basket is also excellent and usually non-existent on a compact pram but it has plenty of space and can hold up to 8kg underneath. The ability to lay the pram completely flat is also such a bonus, when you have to be out and about for long periods of time and need bub to rest on the go.
Recommendation
I would definitely recommend the Redsbaby AERON to other parents who are in the market for a stylish yet performance driven compact pram which is so easy to use. I am often out and about on my own and it is easy to use, portable and durable. I also live in a hot, humid environment, so the high quality and breathable mesh ensures bub is kept cool and safe under the generous canopy.
There are plenty of travel and compact prams but none that offer so many features, as well as comfort for bub and such lightweight portability whilst also being foolproof to use. It really follows the adage of spend once and spend wisely, as I believe it is worth every cent. I wish I had this pram from day one as I could’ve just used the Redsbaby AERON from newborn to now and beyond.
