I saw the trial for GAIA Natural Baby Cradle Cap Lotion and was keen to try it as it’s a product that has been dermatological tested and is Australian-owned. Not to mention, GAIA Natural Baby is a well-known and trusted baby product brand.
My baby first developed cradle cap at 2 months of age and I have been on the hunt for a product that would provide moisture and lessen the appearance of the dry, flaky scalp.

I absolutely loved the GAIA Natural Baby Cradle Cap Lotion! This product has proven benefits for baby’s overall skin conditions and best of all…it’s free from harsh chemicals and 98% naturally derived!
The built-in application brush was so easy and convenient to use and apply. Plus the twister application that allows you to turn the lotion on and off to prevent any accidental spillage in my baby bag provides me with such ease of mind.
The product goes on white and within a few minutes dries quickly and left my baby’s head instantly smooth and soft, and reduced the visibility of the cradle cap. Not to mention, the product has an amazing smell of lavender.
Effectiveness
GAIA Natural Baby Cradle Cap Lotion leaves an amazing smell on my baby’s head and affected areas. The use of lavender and chamomile in this product both have anti-inflammatory benefits which keep my baby’s skin calm and smells delightful. The use of calendula really helps to soothe the scalp and a small amount goes a long way, so it is very cost-effective.
I found straight after a bath, applying the GAIA Cradle Cap Lotion, and left overnight, the cradle cap was less noticeable and no dry flaky skin was seen when my baby woke.
Cradle cap often leaves the scalp dry so this product instantly provides moisture to the affected areas. I used it behind my baby ears and instantly made the skin moistured.
