Sudocrem Product Review

Sudocrem is more than just a nappy rash cream

You already know that it’s great for treating babies’ bottoms, but did you know Sudocrem can be used to soothe a number of minor skin conditions including:

  • Nappy rash
  • Abrasions
  • Minor burns
  • Mild eczema and dermatitis
  • Sunburn

How to soothe and protect from nappy rash

Sudocrem is used to soothe and protect from nappy rash, the soothing emollient cream contains zinc oxide which provides a barrier to protect your baby’s delicate skin between nappy changes. It’s a listed medicine for nappy rash, so if your baby develops symptoms, apply Sudocrem to the affected area at every nappy change. Here’s how to use it for nappy rash:

  1. Ensure your baby’s bottom is clean and dry
  2. Using clean and dry hands, apply a small amount of Sudocrem to your finger – a little goes a long way!
  3. Lightly feather the cream on using a light touch. Avoid rubbing
  4. Create a thin, translucent film. If it still appears white, then you’ve used too much (which many people do, but don’t worry, just use less next time)
  5. Reapply at every nappy change to manage nappy rash

Sudocrem provides gentle yet effective relief to your family’s abrasions, minor burns, mild eczema and dermatitis.

Apply and reapply it as you would to soothe nappy rash (see above).
