I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and started using Mustela Stretch Marks Cream around 16 weeks. Around 18 weeks, I started getting very itchy around my stomach and breasts. I started using Mustela Stretch Marks Cream every morning after I got out of the shower, and then every night before I went to bed massaging it into my tummy, breasts, bum and thighs.

First Look

Looking at the packaging, it was comforting to see that Mustela Stretch Marks Cream used 97% natural ingredients. Its bright colour means it’s always easy to find the tube and it has an easy-to-use clip top. Due to the shape of the Mustela Stretch Marks Cream, it is easily stored upright in the bathroom cupboard. It does have a lot of international text across it and it was clear it comes from France.

Effectiveness

I love the feel. It’s a thick creamy texture that absorbs quickly and really hydrates leaving my skin soft and supple which is important in these winter months with dryer skin. Mustela Stretch Marks Cream is fragrance-free which is great with my overactive sense of smell at the moment. When I reached the 20-week mark, I started using it 3 times a day as I have really popped out a lot this week and since using I don’t feel itchy anymore soothing the feeling of tightness.

I have found that Mustela Stretch Marks Cream has really helped me with the recent big changes in my body. The fact that it is natural is really comforting and it has stopped the crazy itching. I have stretched so much in just the last 2 weeks and I cannot see any stretch marks.

Recommendations

At first, I thought it was a bit pricy, but then a little goes a long way. I think I would go through a tube every couple of months so worth the price.

I would recommend Mustela Stretch Marks Cream to friends and mums that are pregnant looking for a solution to prevent the appearance of stretch marks. It really helped me alleviate the itchiness with the skin tightening and have confidence that I am preventing stretch marks in the future.
