I was very excited to trial the Infacol Colic Relief Drops, particularly given my daughter has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia about a month ago. With her condition, she is required to wear a splint that pushes her diaphragm up, which makes it a lot harder for her to burp.

I hoped that if I could assist with her colic, she would not be in as much discomfort.

First Look:

I was impressed with the Infacol Colic Relief Drops upon first look. The use of the integrated dropper makes the product easy to distribute to bub.

Infacol Colic Relief Mummy Review

One of the key ingredients of Infacol Colic Relief Drops is semethicone. This ingredient works as an anti-foaming agent, that helps in effectively binding up air bubbles, which comes through as a burp or wind. By gathering these air bubbles together, it makes it easier for baby to pass the wind, avoiding the discomfort associated.

I initially had concerns with introducing anything medicated since my baby was so young, but Infacol Colic Relief Drops can be used from birth which eased my worries, and makes it pretty handy!

I simply added the drops into her bottle, as she is a bottle- fed bub, and it works well.

The smell is quite pleasant, and she doesn’t seem to mind the orange flavour at all! The integrated dropper makes it easy to measure the amount, so I don’t need to deal with syringes to measure out each time. This is a bonus!

I have definitely noticed a difference when I have been using the Infacol Colic Relief Drops. She burps much quicker, and it seems a lot easier for her to bring it up.

In terms of value for money Infacol Colic Relief Drops are somewhat in the middle of the price range, however it isn’t the biggest bottle, so you may not get as many doses. But, quality over quantity!

The Infacol Colic Relief Drops are certainly effective in bringing up the wind. I found it to be most successful when used at each feed.

I would certainly recommend this product to all other parents who are looking for fast relief of wind in their babies.
