GAIA Natural Baby Skincare Range – Mum Review by Bianca

I was very excited when asked to review the GAIA Natural Baby Products,  including the GAIA Natural Baby Sleeptime Bath, Baby Shampoo and Baby Moisturiser.

Ever since my son was born, I have trialled various skincare products in order to find a gentle and natural alternative, but also something that will be nourishing and moisturising for his sensitive skin.

First Look

I love that GAIA have come up with a range that contains natural and organic ingredients and have been designed with a baby’s delicate skin in mind – no common nasties (parabens, sulphates, mineral oil and artificial colours and fragrances) has been a blessing for our family.

I was also impressed to learn they are Australian made and owned, vegan friendly and cruelty free certified. This is a huge tick for me.

Effectiveness

I was extremely impressed with how my sons skin felt after only a few days of incorporating the GAIA Natural Baby Skincare Range into our routine.

We haven’t previously used baby shampoo with our little one, however since starting solids, we end up with half his dinner in his hair! The GAIA Natural Baby shampoo is a nourishing and mild shampoo, which doesn’t sting bubs eyes. It is also pH neutral, soap and sulphate free, and wont strip your bubs scalp of the natural oils. His hair is super soft and shiny after only a few days use… I was very impressed!

The GAIA Natural Baby Sleeptime Bath Wash is a game changer! We have used a bath wash since my little guy was born but this was the first time using a specific Sleeptime bath wash. The product has added calming extracts of organic Lavender and Ylang Ylang which helps to relax and calm our little one ready for bedtime. I found bath time has become a lot calmer for him and when bath time is over, he is in a relaxed state ready for sleep.

We also trialed the GAIA Natural Baby Moisturiser on our little ones. It contains organic shea butter, rosehip and avocado oils and well as natural extracts such as wheat germ oil and cacao butter. It also contains the calming aroma of organic lavender which paired with the Sleeptime Bath Wash makes for a blissed out baby ready for his nighttime slumber. I loved how well this product rubs in and how soft my son’s skin was after use. A little goes a long way and it is great for providing a calming massage before bed for your little ones.

Outcomes/benefits

The GAIA Natural Baby Skincare Range is simply amazing. I love the fact that it is all natural and organic, as well as being Australian owned and made.

I have noticed a huge change in the feel of my son’s skin since using the products. It feels softer, better moisturised and less reactive to outside irritations and becoming dry and rough.

It is also suitable for the whole family to use which is a great added bonus!

The Sleeptime Bath has helped us to emphasise the difference between day and night with the calming effects of the Organic Lavender and Ylang Ylang.

Affordability

The GAIA Natural Baby Skincare Range is very affordable for families, and the products go a long way, so they won’t need to be replaced too quickly. For the quality of the product, and the natural and organic ingredients they are made up of, I was really impressed with the price point of the range.

Recommendations

I would recommend this entire range to any family. I have been really impressed with the quality of the products and the Ingredients that have been used in the formulas. I know of a lot of families these days are looking for natural alternatives to use for their little ones, and these products tick all the right boxes!

We are very impressed with these products and love the fact they were created by an Aussie mum when she couldn’t find a natural solution to help treat her son’s eczema. It’s perfect!
