Tips on How to Conceive a Baby Boy
What to expect when your baby is between 6-8 months establishing a routine:
Time | Sleep or Awake |
6.30 am (ish) | Start the day with a milk feed |
7.00 am (ish) | Breakfast cereal After feeding spend time, playing and/or go for or a walk in the pram |
1¾ to 2 hours later | Watch for tired signs Some quiet time |
8.30 am (ish) | Sleep time varies around 2 hours |
10.30 am (ish) | Awake and ready for another milk feed About half an hour after milk feed offer some early lunch followed by more play time |
1¾ to 2 hours later | Watch for tired signs Quiet time for 10 minutes or so then sleep time |
12.30 pm (ish) | Sleep time varies from 1 to 2 hours |
2.30 pm (ish) | Awake and ready for another milk feed Play time. |
4.30 pm (ish) | Sleep time (often just a short nap now) |
5.00 pm (ish) | Awake and a drink |
5.30 pm (ish) | Dinner Bath time |
6.30 pm (ish) | Cuddle time, book time and quiet time |
7.00 pm (ish) | Feed time before bed |
7.30 pm (ish) | Bed time |
10.00–11.00pm | Dream feed. (Some babies love this feed – some don’t) |
3am onwards | An overnight feed may or may not be needed depending on your baby’s ability to gain adequate fluids during the day |
6.30am | Start the day with a feed |
