Last-minute Fathers Day gift ideas

This has been a rollercoaster of a year, so it’s no surprise that you’ve left thinking about your baby daddy’s Fathers Day gift until the last minute. Whether it’s their first Fathers Day or they have been here before…we’ve got you covered with some ideas that will still make him feel like the special person he is. Nothing beats breakfast and baby cuddles in bed, but if you’d like to give him something extra to show how appreciated and loved he is, you’ll be sure to find it here. You may not even need much more than the internet!

Last minute Fathers Day Gifts:

Baby’s finger painting

If you can get your hands on a canvas before the day, get your baby painting a lovely keepsake. If you have a newborn, you could make hand or footprints on some paper. If you don’t have non-toxic baby-safe paints, you can make your own with ingredients you have in the kitchen. Mix one cup of flour with one cup of warm water. Divide it up into several containers and add a drop or two of food colouring to each. Let your baby get creative!

Vouchers

Easily print off or email a voucher to be used another time. It could be for books, clothes, a class (for example, cooking or a craft beer brewing workshop), a hamper, or gardening supplies.

Why not make your own personalised vouchers? You can find free printables online, or get creative yourself. Vouchers for breakfast in bed, dad’s dinner choice, a nap or even date night!

Tickets

If there’s a concert coming up 2021 or an exhibition, book some tickets (and a babysitter!) so you can both go and enjoy some time together.

Subscription

Does your partner have a favourite magazine you could get a subscription for? There are subscriptions to all kinds of things other than magazines. Think wine, socks, newspapers, toiletries, underwear, or snacks.

Memberships

Another great idea is a museum, zoo, football club, or gallery membership for some future family outings. Simply book online, and print off the details or make your own flyer.

Meal delivery

With a baby, you might find eating at home more relaxing than going out. Although you want to spoil him, you don’t want to have to work too hard yourself! Order a lovely lunch or dinner, and set the table nicely inside or outdoors. Make it a picnic if the weather’s favourable.

Other last-minute easy gifts

Of course you can always pop to the supermarket, and buy his favourite bottle of alcohol and other treats. Add a homemade card telling him how amazing he is at being a daddy, and he’ll be thrilled.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the wonderful dads and special father figures out there!
